Precast concrete lifting anchor system

Lifting Anchors are manufactured from high tensile steel with expanded foot for better load transfer from concrete. It has spherical head for ease of lifting pre-cast concrete units with various shapes, e.g. slab, beam, wall, staircase, pipe, etc.

Lifting Anchors are cast in pre-cast concrete units by the use of Rubber Recess Formers which form spherical recesses below the anchors on which the Lifting Head Link are put and lift easily, swiftly and safely.

Lifting Anchor Void Formers are used to accurately and reliably set the anchor into its recess in precast concrete panels. These void formers are non-interchangeable between load groups to minimise errors and are available in a variety of types to meet the demands of different applications.

Rubber Recess Former

Rubber Recess Formers form spherical recesses below the lifting anchors. They are manufactures from synthetic rubber, hence constant in shape even when heated up to 120 C or in contact with oil. The Rubber Recess Former can be used several times.

The Rubber Recess Former is widely opened to allow lifting anchor be inserted into it. It is then fixed firmly in position to the form-work by means of a butterfly nut or screw.

The lifting anchor system consists of flat steel anchors, recess formers and lifting clutches. The design of the lifting clutches and anchors permit loads in any direction. One of the main benefits of this system is the availability of erection anchors for tilting of thin elements with no edge breaking. The clutches can be released either directly by hand at the clutch head or by remote control. The anchors are made from a special quality of flat steel. The anchor head has a hole in which the locking ring of the clutch can engage. The ring clutch is positioned in the recess surrounding the cast-in anchor and the locking latch is closed by hand, enabling the locking ring to engage with the anchor head. The clutch is thus connected with the anchor in a matter of seconds. The ring clutch can now be pulled in all directions to allow for lifting, rotating and pitching of the unit.
