Installation
The recess plug is spread open and set over the anchor head and is then attached to the mould using the stamped metal plate with the fixing bolt and wing nut. On tightening the wing nut, the recess plug is pressed against the mould and clamped around the anchor head at the same time.
Removal
To extract the plug from the set concrete, reinforcement bars are to be inserted into the two openings provided. The plug is then levered out of the mould.
1. Description
1) To fix the spherical head anchors to the formwork a EATHU recess former must be used. This ensures simple and secure locating of the anchor and leaves the anchor ready for the correct universal heading lifting link.
2) The rubber recess former is constant in shiape even when heated up to 120℃ or in contact with oil. It can be used several times. In order to ease the iden-tification of the load group the formers are produced in different colors. Recess formers are used with threaded plates which may be either rod a socket.
